Howdy!! So I was recently inspired to start a blog...I know I'm joining the world of blogging a little late but that's kind of how I do things!! :) I figure I'll write about two of my favorite things..working out and drinking wine!!! Hope ya'll enjoy!!!

Getting Back on Track...well at least trying too!!

Ok so today I had a goal of starting to get back on track with eating right and working out!! So my initial plan (that I set at about 1 am this morning as I was crawling into bed from a crazy day at work) was to get up around 9 am, weigh myself (UGH!! DREAD!!) and take measurements and record these, then take the dogs for a walk, do Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred Level One workout and then run on the treadmill for 10-15 min...well after a night of not sleeping well (not an unusual occurrence unfortunately) I of course hit "snooze" a few too many times so I woke up around 10 instead of 9 and therefore didn't have enough time to do all 3 things I had planned, so I did the Jillian Michaels workout...which felt GREAT, and I can already feel I'm going to be a little sore tomorrow...and I burned 150 calories in just 20 minutes, so that's nice, but because I had a goal to do some other activities I can only give my workout a rating of 3.5 High Fives

As far as the other part...getting back to eating right..I went to Kroger last night after work..since I was brain dead from work I wandered around at midnight trying to get some "clean eating" essentials like fruits and veggies and chicken and my fav..ALMOND BUTTER!!! I did pretty good with the eating even though it was a really crazy day in the ER, even more crazy then yesterday I think!! I didn't even give in to the evil chocolate chip cookies at work :) ...but I did give into a small handful of Peanut Butter M&Ms :( ..I mean seriously, who can resist those...especially after dealing with as much stupid drama as I did today!!! So other than the PB Miees and 2 Diet Cokes I think I did ok!!! My goal is no more diet coke in 2 weeks, I've done it before, just gotta break the habit again!!!

Now I'm wasting time at work blogging while I and should be doing charts but am too brain dead...so I'm going to go home...and maybe have a glass of wine!! :) I know that doesn't help with the diet, but again...too much drama for one day...I really need something to chill me out before bed!! Nighty Nite!!!
