Ok...so today I feel like I had a great workout!!! Granted it wasn't what most people would consider a "normal" workout in the sense that I went to the gym and lifted weights...or put on my running shoes and went for a nice run...but I definitely got a pretty good workout in today trying to keep up with Nik, my 5 year old nephew!!!
I took him to his first Aggie Football game today and Jacob and Shannon (my bro and future sister-in-law) took Nik to the Kid Zone where he got to run, and jump, and race, and play his little heart out!!! Then we took him to Kid's Yell Practice and watched the Band and Aggie Football Players march in!!! Then it was off to Kyle Field for the game!!! So this is where the REAL workout started!!! Nik thought it would be "FUN" to RACE up the ramps of Kyle Field to get to our seats...which by the way are on the 3rd deck of Kyle..so that was a great butt and quad workout!! then we got to walk up to the 25th row to get to our seats...again nice for the quads!!!! So during the game I made a few trips up and down the stairs which helped get the quads burning a little more too!!! After the game it was time to take Nik down to the field to play!!! Unfortunately we didn't have a football to throw around so Nik decided he wanted to play TAG...on the football field...so that meant lots of sprinting for Sissy!!! All in all it was a great night and a really fun way to burn some calories!!! Can't wait to take Nik to another game!!! I'm pretty sure he had a blast too so that makes it all the more better!!!
